A neat place to store your picks! Laser-cut into the wood, this cedar box features a very finely detailed banjo. Outside dimensions: 4 x 1-3/4 x 3-1/4. Makes a delightful birthday or Christmas gift.
This box was created using an art form called laser engraving. A beam of invisible light from a powerful laser was used to carve the recessed areas.
The portions of the wood which were struck by the laser beam were raised to a temperature hotter than the surface of the sun, literally vaporizing the wood. |
