New from Gold Tone, the BC-120 is a fine banjo in the traditional style, crafted for the preferences of banjo virtuoso Bob Carlin.
Following the success of the Bob Carlin models BC-350 and BC-350+, Gold Tone introduced a new brother, the BC-120. This economically priced version of the BC line has many of the features of it's costlier relative: 12" rim and frailing scoop to play over the neck for a deeper tone, a wider fingerboard to facilitate drop thumb, a "hot-dog" vintage-style armrest but sells for a fraction of the price. For those that want to get into a 12" rimmed banjo at the beginner price, the BC-120 is for you. Includes gig bag.
Note: Our banjos are individually inspected, set up and tuned by the banjo.com staff in Georgia. We are banjo players, so we set them up the way we want to play them! Each banjo is in tune when we carefully pack it for shipment. Climate conditions and travel will affect the tuning, so it may need to be fine-tuned before playing. |
