New from Gold Tone, this is a clawhammer banjo player's dream with a traditional headstock and scooped neckall standard.
This clawhammer banjo has all the features desired for old-time playing, with a scooped fingerboard, brass-rod tone ring, and a slightly wider neck. The dowel stick attachment is actually a unique design as it surrounds a metal coordinator rod (unseen) but allows easy neck removal and a degree of adjustability. Rosewood cap-on-heel and wood rim match the fingerboard and truss rod cover. Engraved Gold Tone arm rest and ball style nuts are standard for old time look and playing comfort.
Note: Our banjos are individually inspected, set up and tuned by the banjo.com staff in Georgia. We are banjo players, so we set them up the way we want to play them! Each banjo is in tune when we carefully pack it for shipment. Climate conditions and travel will affect the tuning, so it may need to be fine-tuned before playing. |
