The CC-50RP model is tone designed for bluegrass learning and includes a full walled resonator and planetary tuners (the same as used on our pro models). The finest value in a low-priced banjo featuring a brass tone ring, planetary tuners, hardwood rim, and more.

Note: Our banjos are individually inspected, set up and tuned by the Banjo.com staff in Georgia. We are banjo players, so we set them up the way we want to play them! Each banjo is in tune when we carefully pack it for shipment. Climate conditions and travel will affect the tuning, so it may need to be fine-tuned before playing.

I just purchased this banjo about a month ago, and I absolutely love it. for a cheap beginner banjo it sure is a quality banjo. I pick it just about everyday and I rarely have to tune it up. I first started playing banjo when I was about 13 or 14 yrs old and got pretty decent on it and that was about 30 yrs ago so when I bought this one I just wanted a good inexpensive banjo I could play relearn and that sure is what I got, nothing fancy but an excellent banjo all the same. I highly recommend it to anyone starting out or even someone with yrs of experience or anywhere in between.
