The word that best describes the Banjovie is fun!. The small, comfortable neck is remarkably easy to play and it puts out a surprising volume and catchy banjo tone. The natural looking fiber-skin head is mechanically fastened and permanently tight on the rim, requiring no adjustments at any time. Padded gig bag included!
This 5-string, open-back banjo features a one-piece solid all black walnut or cherry neck, which has been precision-shaped and drilled on a computer-controlled machining center. This cutting-edge production method allows for precise fret placement, and consistent high quality with remarkably low cost.
Includes all-geared tuners. The fifth string tuner is located on the peghead, allowing for a comfortable neck with unlimited tuning configurations. The fifth string is held on the fingerboard at the fifth fret (or whatever other fret you choose to spike) with a little railroad spike and conveniently hugs the side of the neck to the tuner.
Tune it to an open "C" chord, which is 5 frets higher than a standard banjo.
Note: Our banjos are individually inspected, set up and tuned by the banjo.com staff in Georgia. We are banjo players, so we set them up the way we want to play them! Each banjo is in tune when we carefully pack it for shipment. Climate conditions and travel will affect the tuning, so it may need to be fine-tuned before playing. |
