This one is discounted because it has a small 1/8-inch blem on the back of the resonator. This banjo combines classic pre-war (WWII) style features and desirable modern touches to create the ultimate bluegrass banjo. Designed by Greg Rich, this model recalls the most supremely crafted banjos from the Golden Age of musical instruments.
The RK-R82 features genuine gold-plated hardware a true vintage appointment. The Professional also features the traditional Recording King floral peghead and inlay and an authentic Mastertone-style flange. With its exceptional tone and handcrafted perfection, this banjo will appeal to players as well as collectors.
Note: Our banjos are individually inspected, set up and tuned by the banjo.com staff in Georgia. We are banjo players, so we set them up the way we want to play them! Each banjo is in tune when we carefully pack it for shipment. Climate conditions and travel will affect the tuning, so it may need to be fine-tuned before playing. |
