Black Remo Banjo head |

I have a Morgan Monroe Appalachia banjo that sounded real good but a little bright sounding for my taste. This black head really tamed the brightness. if your looking for a thicker sound out of your banjo this is just the ticket. Not to mention how awesome the banjo looks now with its gold hardware and the black head. Very pleased with this purchase and very pleased with the customer service at Banjo.com!!!!

The head was just not what I thought. I was looking for the frosted black head like the white ones. It turned out to be a smooth non-glossy head.
I spoke to Banjo .com & they gladly accepted the return. They also changed the wording in the ad to read: Not a course frosting, but a sueded finish. SURE WISH SOMEONE WOULD MAKE A REAL "FROSTED BLACK HEAD"
