I purchsed this banjo from the great folks at BANJO.COM and was surprised at the banjo I got for the price. The Savannah looks and sounds better that the more expensive banjos I found at other stores, not to mention I made some new friends as soon as I walked in the store. These guys took the time to sit down and talk with me for a while. I was invited to sit down with the President and Manager to discuss my purchase and get some great advise. I was also incouraged to keep in touch with them and to let them know if I had any problems; from learning curves to just getting frustrated. While I was ther the president sent an e-mail to a guy in my area to inquire about lessons. Really Folks, You will not find the customer service from the large chain stores that you will here. I drove about 1 hour to be able to pick up in store, but dont be afraid to order online, these guys are very professional and take a great deal of pride with these banjos. THANKS GUYS!!!

This banjo is a great starter. I had excellent experience throughout the entre process! My banjo showed up 3 days after my order was placed. The only thing that I am not happy with is the standard bag they comes with the package I ordered. It is to small for my banjo, the zipper does not hold up well under the extra pressure caused by the tight fit.

I got this bad boy in the mail 3 business days after ordering it via 6 day ground. I was very impressed with that. The banjo is beautiful, and once I got it tuned, it sounds wonderful as well. If you have big fingers, I'd recommend getting different picks. The propick selection worked well for me. Also, the accompaning Quiktune tuner does not work well with the banjo. I'd recommend getting a chromatic clip-on tuner. Another nice accompaniment would be the Soseby finger anchors if this is your first time playing the banjo. They run about 20 bucks, but they truly are a great addition. Overall: great product. I'd highly recommend buying it from this company.
