This T-shirt was designed to commemorate the Tribute to Earl Scruggs event to be held at Turner Field in Atlanta on September 13, 2006. Part of the pre-game show for the Atlanta Braves, hundreds of banjo players will perform Foggy Mountain Breakdown for Earl Scruggs and approximately 25,000 baseball fans.
It is screen-printed on a Jerzees brand 100% Heavyweight 6.1 oz cotton T-shirt. All proceeds from the sale of these T-shirts are being donated, at the request of Mr. Scruggs, to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, specifically for the Louise Scruggs Memorial. In his recently-revised book Earl Scruggs and the 5-String Banjo, Mr. Scruggs provides an insight to his wife's pioneering work as his business manager. |
