About Vega (a Deering brand): Vega banjos were first introduced early in the 20th century, and they're still quite popular today. Deering Banjo Company acquired Vega a few years back, and they manufacture Vega banjos in the same California factory where they produce the premium Deering-brand banjos. Vega and Deering banjos include a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner.
